We're Dan and Barb Bilow and we welcome you to our web site dedicated to our travels on the H.O.G. POSSE RIDE: THE LOWER 48, EASTERN & WESTERN CAMPAIGNS We would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about ourselves. Barb and I have been married since March of 2002 having been brought together a year earlier through our mutual interest in Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. I have been riding for thirty some years while Barb was new to the sport, having taken up riding in 2000. We have held several offices as members of Seattle Chapter H.O.G, sponsored by
Downtown Harley-Davidson. and enjoy the feeling of family in the biker community. After our first extended trip across country to Sturgis in 2002 we realized how much we both liked to tour the countryside by bike and when news came of the H.O.G. POSSE RIDE that would encompass the entire 48 contiguous states there was no question, we had to go. Though we both own and ride our own bikes, Barb has a customized 2002 Dyna Low Rider® and I ride an Ultra Classic® when touring it's two up for us. With me in front and Barb as passenger we each can find our own joy while sharing a common experience. I love the feel of the bike under my control, to lean into the curves and flow with the road, to fly without leaving the ground. Barb relishes the ability to take in the sights, sounds, and smells without the distractions of constantly watching the road. Both of us enjoy the closeness as we share the journey and our thoughts "in the moment" through the intercom system.
